Social Media Policy

 

Please be advised that my professional ethics prohibits me from having virtual or online relationships with therapy clients which includes through social media.

Friend Requests & Connections

I, therefore, do not accept friend requests or connection requests of any kind on any social media sites from my therapy clients.

Likes, Following, & Commenting

I do have social media pages and a blog page on my website.  You are welcome to view my Facebook Page and read or share articles posted there.  Your participation in social media posts is at your discretion. Many followers of my pages are not former or current clients and you will never be identified as such on any social media by me.  If you chose to follow me on Facebook or any other page, follow my blog, and or receive my newsletters on these sites and pages please do not post any comments identify yourself as a therapy client.   If you do I will delete the post and remove you as a follower in order to protect your confidentiality.

Business Review Sites

You may find my business practice on sites such as Yelp, Health grades, Yahoo Local, Bing, or other places which list businesses. Some of these sites include forums in which users rate their providers and add reviews. Many of these sites comb search engines for business listings and automatically add listings regardless of whether the business has added itself to the site. If you should find my listing on any of these sites, please know that my listing is NOT a request for a testimonial, rating, or endorsement from you as my client.

Any testimonial listed on my wesbsite it that of a professional in the role of a consultee or a participation in a training not from therapy clients.
